So this is how the other half lives. Found this house on the contemporist.com site for a new home built using Feng Shui principals, so that there are no straight walls in the house, everything is built on a curve. The house has panoramic views of Sydney. See more of the “Butterfly House” here

Not sure what the rest of this house looks like, but pretty sure we would be happy living in this house. Love the simple clean lines of the kitchen.

Its hard to tell from this photo, but it looks like they had their plumber install an oversized split sink with two separate faucets, to get more functionality while they were working on the island.

Wish there were more photos of this kitchen, and the whole house, would love to see the details.

Maybe its just because it’s spring here and everything is finally turning green and coming alive but found this interior and really liked how the room felt.

Simple clean and white, yet leaves me feeling alive. Especially like that someone had the vision to pump the ceiling up so that they could install a nice ceiling fan to help move the air around , which allows the room to breathe and feel alive.

Speaking of groovy bookcases. Loved the graphic ribbon effect that this book case adds to the room. The only thing different that we would do is to find a good electrician to install some low voltage led lighting to the shelving for mood lighting in the room when the sun goes down.

Dining Room with a view- how the other half lives. Love the skylights and the chandelier but wonder if they have any other electrical lighting installed to set the mood for evening. Think it would be kinda cool to see led lighting installed in the garden area or on the topiaries in the room.

No this is not our beautiful house, but wish it was. What a great room- yes we think that is the Golden Gate. A truly magical space must come a live at night when the ceiling lights installed are dimmed to set the mood of the place at dusk.

Feeling kinda groovy lately,we found this mid century modern kitchen we thought we’d share. We love its open feel and attention to detail, right down to the choice for the beautiful pendant lights installed over the island sink work area.

Just a beautiful feel about the whole place. A job well done.

FYI- Did we mention this house started out as a school classroom trailer that somebody bought, gutted and turned into a beautiful small space eco friendly home. Just amazing.
